Looe Christmas Market
When: 16th December 2023
Where: Quayside Centre, West Looe

To help you get into the spirit of the season, while also picking up some last-minute gifts, the Looe Christmas Market will offer a great atmosphere where you and your family will be able to browse plenty of stalls from businesses near and far. All these stalls will offer an array of handmade trinkets, along with festive treats, so you can go knowing there will be something for everyone.

Whether you are seeking the perfect present for a loved one or treating yourself, the Looe Christmas Market promises a warm and enchanting experience for anyone who attends.

Santa By Steam
When: Every weekend in December leading up to Christmas
Where: Bodmin General Station

A perfect experience if you have children, board the train at Bodmin General Station to ride up to Bodmin Parkway and back with Santa himself. 

Enjoy the Victorian-style train carriages while tucking into mince pies and opening presents, as well as taking part in various arts and crafts activities. This experience also allows you to snap some pictures in a Christmas-themed photobooth which is available before you board.

Tunnel Of Lights
When: Running until Sunday 31st December 2023
Where: Shipwreck Treasure Museum

The dazzling Tunnel Off Lights is a joyous experience at the Shipwreck Treasure Museum, and returning for its 5th year it’s an unmissable experience fit for the whole family. Walk through a tunnel decorated with beautiful Christmas lights, and find various festive attractions throughout.

Heligan Night Garden
When: 8th December 2023 till 2nd January 2024
Where: The Lost Gardens Of Heligan

A journey like no other, this magical trail set on a night-time route is sure to impress. As you walk through the gardens, they will be lit up with beautiful installations of lanterns. These lights will take the form of many forms of nature, such as badgers, bees, fungi and flowers.

Christmas At The Eden Project
When: Various dates throughout December
Where: Eden Project

As one of the most popular attractions in Looe throughout the year, it’s a must-visit at Christmas time. 

Their largest attraction this year is the light show, which takes place after dark. This experience also features music as the various biomes shine various colours lighting up the night sky and the surrounding buildings making it a breathtaking experience. Other attractions also include ice skating, meeting Santa and winter workshops.
