Including markets, concerts and spooky Halloween events, there is something for everyone on our list below. 

Callington Town Market

When: Sunday 1st Of October
Where: Pannier Market, Callington

Some of the most popular events in Cornwall are always a good market, and Callington Town Market is no exception. Held on the first Sunday of every month, and with it falling on the first this year, it’s a great way to kickstart your Autumn break. It features a wide variety of goods suited for anyone, from handmade items to fresh produce, it’s a must-visit to find something you can take home with you to remember your trip.

Trebartha Estate Garden and Country Garden 

When: Sunday 1st Of October (14:00 – 17:00)
Where: Trebartha, nr Launceston, Cornwall, PL15 7PD

If a market isn’t your thing, or you perhaps want to visit somewhere else afterwards, the Trebartha Estate Garden and Country Garden are full of stunning landscapes and views of beautiful hills that offer a great walking experience with plenty to look at. There are even homemade teas available to keep you refreshed! Admission is £8.00 for adults and a child’s entry is free, so it’s a great day out at an affordable price.

Pondlife! at Cotehele Quay

When: Saturday 7th October (10:00 – 13:00)
Where: St Dominick, near Saltash, Cornwall, PL12 6TA (at the pond, located in the picnic area behind the car park)

Ideal for families, your children can discover which creatures live in and on the pond from a platform situated from the water to get a first-hand experience of the amazing little critters in the area. They can even have a go at pond dipping to get an even closer look at what you may find. Your child will come out being a pondlife expert! Please note, that adult supervision is required. Cornwall Rocks 2023

When: Friday 6th October – Sunday 8th October
Where: Tencreek Holiday Park, Polperro Rd, Looe

For something a bit heavier, why not come headbang at this annual rock and metal festival? Cornwall Rocks 2023 welcomes a wide range of some of the best rock and metal bands in the UK to the stage, and after a massive hit last year, it’s guaranteed to be a hit yet again this year. Day tickets are £35 upwards.

Halloweden at Eden

When: 18-29 October 2023 (9.30 am – 6 pm)
Where: Eden Project, Bodelva, Par PL24 2SG

To get you in the Halloween spirit, why not visit The Eden Project for their very spectacular Halloweden At Eden! You can take part in a special quest to protect the world’s forests guided by legendary tree giants. There’s even an ice rink and a wand-making workshop.
