Summer Rockpool Ramble
When: Friday 1st September, 12:45 pm to 2:15 pm
Where: Hannafore Beach, meet below the coastguard station

This educational event is guaranteed fun for all the family, as you explore the beach looking for the various critters that live there and learn all about them. Local experts will teach you about starfish, crabs, fish and more while giving you a first-hand look at them in their natural environment. With lots to discover, the Summer Rockpool Ramble is a must-do activity, no matter your age!

Lostwithiel Antique and Collectors Market
When: Saturday 2nd September, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
Where: Mill Hill, Lostwithiel PL22 0HB

Held on the first Saturday of every month, the Lostwithiel Antique and Collectors Market is perfect for those who have a love for all things antique and vintage. With stalls filled with a large variety of items, who knows what you’ll find? From jewellery to furniture there’s bound to be something for everyone, and with easy parking and a level entrance for ease, it’s a great place to visit. You might even find something you never thought you’d need.

A History Tour Of Boconnoc House With Catherine Lorigan
When: Tuesday 5th September, 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Where: Boconnoc, Lostwithiel PL22 0RG

If you fancy a tour around one of Cornwall’s most beautiful country homes while also learning about its rich history, A History Tour Of Boconnoc House With Catherine Lorigan is for you. You’ll learn all about the grounds and its past stories, how they connect to the house itself and the meaning behind some of its various paintings.  If this sounds like it’s up your street or you want to experience something new you can buy tickets here.

West Looe Market
When: Sunday 10th September, 10:00 am to 3 pm
Where: Quayside Centre, The Quay, West Looe

Everybody loves a good market, so it’s a must to visit the regular West Looe Market, this time on the 10th of September. You’ll be able to find lots of unique items on sale from various vendors who are all local crafters and artists. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to pick up some one-of-a-kind products and support small and independent businesses in the Looe area!

Looe Food Festival
When: Sunday 10th September, All Day from 10:30 am
Where: Buller Quay, Looe

While visiting Looe, you’ll be missing out if you don’t try some traditional Cornish food and the Looe Food Festival is the best place to visit if you want to get your food fix. There are plenty of things happening too, including full cookery demonstrations from talented chefs in the local area showing off their skills and sharing tricks of the trade. On top of this, a variety of traders will be at the festival showcasing their produce and products. And with it being free what’s stopping you?

Looe Weekender 2023
When: Friday 15th till Sunday 17th September
Where: Various pubs and venues across Looe (see schedule below)

Featuring some of the best bands and acts from miles around, the Looe Weekender 2023 is an exciting three-day festival that’s a must for any of you music lovers visiting our cottages this September. With more than ten venues and pop-up stages across town taking part, there’s bound to be an act on at any given time which you’ll love. Find the full rundown and plan your weekend in advance!
